London Stone E-Commerce Is Here! Our new website is live and kicking!
The new London Stone website is up and running! If you’ve visited recently, you’ll already know how different it looks from the old one - cleaner, brighter, and easier to navigate.
We’ve introduced major changes, too, that are aimed squarely at making your life easier. A vast amount of thought has gone into this project. Over the last two years, the time that our Marketing Manager, Diana Catrinoi-Cornea has been working on it, alongside the rest of our marketing and technical team is monumental.
London Stone E-Commerce Is Here! London Stone's new website contains everything you need to order easily and efficiently
The major new addition is e-commerce ability. Click through to the materials you want, order by metres squared or the number of pieces you need and add to your basket. There’s a handy Quantity Calculator so you can double-check your figures and, even more useful, a live stock level on each item, so you can see at a glance how much is available. This is particularly useful if you’re working out of hours – we don’t want to encourage it, but we know it happens!
“London Stone e-commerce is here! You don’t have to wait for us to be open,” says Diana. “You can order on a Saturday evening or Sunday.”
We’ve aimed to make your visits to our website as efficient and streamlined as possible. Below the product being ordered, you’ll find a quick click through to matching step treads, copings etc., and a scroll-though list of installation accessories.
“It’s taken London Stone to another level,” adds Diana. “You can do more than just buy a crate, or part of a crate, for next day delivery. London Stone are known for our service and we’ve taken none of that away.”
Improved image galleries make choosing the perfect material even easier
Improved Image Galleries
Images are incredibly important for creating a flavour of how a material will suit a design, which is why we’ve expanded the image galleries and will be adding more inspirational pictures, credited as standard.
From our home page, you can also scroll our Instagram feed to access more images, offers and news.
I Want To…
The “I want to” section at the bottom of the page rounds up all the actions you’re mostly likely to want to carry out, whether you want to find a showroom, join our Landscape Specialist Scheme, or just get in touch with us.
Go straight here to track your order by entering your six-digit order number. If the delivery is imminent and it’s one of our own vehicles delivering, here you’ll even see exactly where the lorry is. Of course, we’re still sending out text messages and emails, reminding you of upcoming deliveries, and our delivery partners contact you directly also.
For sample ordering, the “I want to” section is the place to go. From here you can order up to three free samples from across our complete range; from DesignBoard and Millboard composite decking to any of our Porcelains or Natural Stones. Up to ten samples can be ordered for a nominal delivery charge.
Quantity calculators and live stock levels mean that the London Stone Service to which you've become accustomed, hasn't gone anywhere
Enhanced Trade Discount
Last, but by no means, least, ordering online through your trade account earns an enhanced trade discount, making you more profit and creating even better value for money. With your account available to log into whenever you need, you also have your order history, invoices and delivery addresses at your fingertips.
In the meantime, we’d like to thank all the staff who’ve worked so hard on this. “I am loving it,” says Diana. “It’s satisfying to see that people are using it. We’ve ‘soft launched’ up to now. Our clients are placing orders organically. It shows they trust us.”
If you do want to discuss anything, of course we’re still a phone call, WhatsApp message or email away but we’ve aimed our website as a big step to making your life easier, so let us know what you think. We’re more than happy to receive feedback.
If you are attending Futurescape next Tuesday, come and find us on stands 26 – 27 to see the website in action!
