Compact DesignClad, measuring 1200x600mm, is a highly durable exterior wall cladding, offering a range of colours and smooth surface texture that fit effortlessly into contemporary designs. The rectified edges of Compact DesignClad give a clean, refined feel, enhancing the sense of elegance. Its fade-resistant colours complement designs incorporating products across our natural stone and porcelain paving ranges, as well as DesignBoard composite decking.

It's an exterior wall cladding designed with practicality in mind. Weighing just 12.4kg per sheet, and 9mm thick, its size makes for easier handling. 1200x600mm DesignClad is a great choice for efficiently and quickly covering vertical surfaces. Outdoors, it’s an excellent choice for cladding retaining and garden walls and raised beds. Its very low porosity and high scratch-resistance make it a prime choice for exposed areas, promising long-lasting quality with minimal maintenance.

How to cut DesignClad exterior wall cladding

DesignClad should be cut with a continuous rim porcelain blade. For best results we recommend cutting wet on a fixed table saw. More information is available in our DesignClad Premium product guide. We also offer a bespoke cutting service, preparing sheets to meet any specific size requirements.

What grout should I use with 1200x600mm DesignClad?

All our external wall cladding products come with a carefully selected colour recommendation. Find it under Installation Materials on each product page. We recommend Larsen Colourfast grouting for its fine grain, water-resistance and lasting colour.
