Coping Stones add the finishing touch to any wall. While London Stone offers a range of off-the-shelf profiles to suit a wide variety of styles, bespoke wall coping can be supplied from any of our natural stone, allowing you to choose a material to match or contrast with your paving and steps, widening the design options. Coping stones are often sawn from sandstone or limestone, among others, but we also offer riven sandstone, perfect for more rustic garden walls. Our skilled stonemasons are happy to discuss your requirements and will cut the stone's profile to your exact specification. Coping stones are placed on top of walls, not only to look good, but to prevent water from damaging the brickwork. All our off-the-shelf options have profiled edges which, combined with the drip-grooves on the underside, encourage water to drip off and away from the walls, so saving brickwork from becoming over-wet. They're certainly not utilitarian, though. When a garden design needs a touch more dignity or luxury, coping stones offer the answer. Our bespoke stones are not only available with the profile of your choice, but also in a variety of surface finishes, allowing a truly individual design."
