Our sandstone Garden Walling, supplied to match three of our most popular Indian Sandstone paving products, has hand-cut edges and clefted surfaces to offer a tactile aesthetic to garden walls. It is also incredibly durable, withstanding the elements and ensuring that, however you use it, it remains as beautiful and functional as the day it was installed.
The hand-crafted surfaces of our Natural Stone Walling create a timeless finish that will enhance the organic feel of your garden and can be an asset to any landscape design. Supplied in 215 x 100mm tumbled brick with thicknesses varying from 50 – 70mm, each walling option offers the natural blend of textures and tones that make every stone wall unique.
Mint Sandstone Walling provides tones of beige and brown with occasional pink and apricot, offering an uplifting sense of light and style. This colour is a budget-friendly alternative to Cotswold dry stone walling.
Kandla Grey Sandstone Walling presents subtle shades of grey. Despite being a hand-cut stone with a tumbled (softened) edge, its more consistent colouring makes Kandla Grey at home in modern designs, as well as traditional schemes.
Raj Green Sandstone Walling offers a mix of greys, purples and browns. The colouring is sympathetic to dirt and staining and can provide interest when used with paving that is more colour-consistent.
Garden Walling offers endless design possibilities. It’s perfect for creating boundaries that offer both privacy and protection, as well as for retaining walls in sloped or terraced gardens. Raised garden beds adding a striking visual element, and are a great way to give plants better soil drainage. Garden walling can also provide beautiful step risers in combination with matching step treads. The natural sandstone is an ideal complement to a pond or water feature.
Painted Fern Garden Design and Sustainable Landscapes featured our Mint Sandstone Walling alongside Mint sandstone paving and setts in this rustic-looking tiered garden. Using the same base material for different applications and across different areas gives a sense of continuity and flow to the garden.
Sandstone walling can be laid in the same way as a stand-alone brick wall or, if a more solid structure is required, it can be used to face a concrete block wall.
For larger projects, we recommend professional installation to achieve a polished and long-lasting result. Check out our professional installation video series, where we’ve partnered with Mark Youde of The Landscaping Academy to offer a comprehensive guide to installing London Stone materials.
