Pointing Preparation It is recommended to wait at least 7-14 days before pointing. It can help to dampen natural paving before grouting to help reduce the risk of picture framing. Prior to grouting the open grout joints clean, dry and free of residues. Porous or textured tiles/slabs may require sealing before grouting with a suitable impregnating sealer. If in doubt trial an inconspicuous area to check for staining and correct colour before commencing.
Mixing Mix each 10kg bag with approximitely 2.5L clean water. It should be mixed with the correct amount of water using a low-speed drill and mixing paddle. Mix for a minimum of 3 minutes, allow to stand for 2 minutes, then remix. To check consistency. Do not mix more product than can be used in approx. 40 minutes. Do not add more water or 'wet-up' mortar which has begun to set.
Application Process Using a soft rubber grout float apply the material with diagonal sweeping movements to the grout joints, taking care to fully compress the grout into the full depth of the joints. Work in manageable areas, and clean off any residues when the grout has begun to firm up in the joints butnot before it sets on the tile face. Cleaning with a damp and not overly wet clean foam rubber sponge will provide best results. Changing the cleaning water as it becomes contaminated with grout residues will alsoaid cleaning. When the grout has set, any remaining grout film can be polished off the surface with a clean damp cloth. N.B. Do not over wet the grout as this will result in a weakened grout joint and can also cause efflorescence, a white soluble salt, to form on the surface of the finished grout joint. Protect from direct rain for 12 hours. Refer to the product guide for further information.
Cleaning Tools Wash all tools frequently to avoid material bonding to them
Cleaning During Application Always keep a clean sponge and water available for wiping off any excess or spillages from paving

Aftercare

Can withstand a light jet wash, be careful not to get too close which could damaged the joint
