Time-saving and budget-friendly, our ready-sealed sandstone and limestone can be with you tomorrow. Just another customer-centred improvement from London Stone!

Sawn sandstone and limestone should be sealed. We always recommend it. Even more so where the colour is very light, as it is with, for example, Beige Sawn Sandstone.
This is because sawing opens up the pores in the stone and makes slabs more absorbent. Sealing repels water, reducing staining and making cleaning easier.
To find out more about when and why we recommend sealing, see the link at the bottom of this post.
Quicker to order
We do, of course, seal sawn sandstone and limestone to order at our Bespoke Stone Centre. However, that’s not always what you want. With in-house sealing there's a lead time of around three weeks. Sometimes, all you want is for it to arrive tomorrow—which is exactly what’s become possible with our new additions.
Factory-sealed sandstone paving

Our new lines in Harvest Sandstone Sealed and Beige Sandstone Sealed aim to remove your frustration at having to wait. They’re among our most popular colours. Harvest offers a fresh, warm mix of pastels and beige, while Beige has even, creamy tones that are very desirable for modern gardens.
Now these colours are available pre-sealed, off the shelf. Order them today and you could be laying them tomorrow.
Cost-effective
An added benefit of our ready-sealed sandstone options is lower cost. With the sealing element adding less than half the cost of in-house sealing to the price of the paving, these lovely sandstones become viable for a wider range of budgets.
How to choose between factory and in-house sealing

You’ve chosen Harvest or Beige, and you know you want the slabs sealed. Which should you choose—our ready-sealed sandstone or our pre-sealing service by the experts at our Bespoke Stone Centre (BSC)?
Here’s a handy comparison to help you decide:
| Factory-sealed | BSC-sealed | |
| Delivery | Next-day, as available | 15 working days lead time |
| Cost | Approx £8m2 | Approx £18m2 |
| Sealant used | Lantania Twins 1740 | Dry-Treat Stain-Proof Original |
| Warranty | No | 15 years |
| Solvent-based | Yes | Yes |
| Duration before reapplication may be advised | Approx 5 years | At least 15 years |
There's no right or wrong here. Both sealants are highly regarded in the industry and your decision all depends on what's best for you. Where the stone is laid could affect your choice—is it likely to receive a lot of leaf-fall over the years, for example? Or, maybe, how happy are you to seal stone yourself in future?
Whatever you decide, you'll gain to-die-for paving that's well protected!
Factory-sealed limestone

We are also delighted to now supply Jura Beige Sealed limestone and Jura Grey Sealed limestone. They're two of landscaping's best-loved natural stone pavings. Designers adore them and both colours bring elegant distinction to an outdoor space. The embedded shells and small fossils and little surface imperfections give real character to the refined sawn finish and even tones.
Jura Beige and Jura Grey limestone now come factory-sealed as standard. This is a huge boon for this gorgeous paving, ensuring that you receive your order speedily. Pre-sealed with an environmentally-friendly water-based sealant, the limestone is ready to lay and protected against mortar stains and spillages during the laying process. It’s all part of making your life that bit easier.
