London Stone have just published our first online newsletter. The newsletter is designed to keep our regular trade clients up to date with the companies progress and initiatives. Although a newsletter is quite a simple concept we did spend a lot of time and thought on the content of newsletter. We all get bombarded with various forms of e-marketing and I am sure that the vast majority of marketing emails get deleted before they have even been opened.
So the challenge was to make the newsletter interesting and hope that people actually looked forward to receiving it. The first idea was to run a competition for photographs. Although London Stone sell thousands of metres of Natural Stone Paving every week we are always short of high quality images of finished patio's. We asked all our trade clients to send in photographs of finished projects using London Stone Paving products and we offered a free crate of Sawn Sandstone Paving to the company who sent in the best picture. We also guaranteed that any photograph used on our website or in our brochure would be credited with the respective companies contact details.
We were also looking for some of our regular trade clients to help us out with some new product development. We are launching some new products in 2012 and we are looking for some of our customers to test out these products in a real garden scenario. Our range of Tumbled Paving has proved to be very popular in 2011 and we have added a couple of new types of Tumbled Paving to this range for 2012. We are also adding to our range of Sawn Pavingin 2012. Moleanos Blue Limestone Paving is another product we are looking to test out. we have asked our trade clients to send us details of any Natural Stone Paving projects where we could test out these new paving products in return for a high quality image of the finished project.
