When dry, the stone is beautiful - and when wet, it takes on a whole new life of its own. The ‘planks’ were broken up with stabilised granite chippings so it wasn’t a solid area of paving. This worked perfectly and enabled the paving to act as a directional element to the display."

The attractive style of plank paving makes impressive garden schemes with its unique look. The deep tones of our Dark Grey Granite Plank Paving will bring a sleek and sophisticated feel to the garden and bring an instant sense of luxury. The paving can make a bold statement when laid on its own or can be used to create a stunning contrast when paired with larger and lighter paving slabs. The slender lines of the plank paving are an ideal choice in smaller spaces. The planks can create the illusion of depth, to create a lengthening or widening effect to make a narrow space appear larger.

A mixture of grain sizes present, predominantly in a charcoal colour with a mixture of black and white quartz grains. Some light striations in the bottom left area.

A little more consistent graining here and more consistent charcoal colour. Light veining diagonally across the bottom right area. Black and white speckles present again.

A generally lighter charcoal piece with some strong black colours present towards the middle of the slab. White speckles are still also present. No veining or striations present on this piece.

A quite consistent light charcoal colour, still some black and white grains present to a lesser degree. A couple of larger white quartz grains.

A wet piece of Dark Grey Granite, the water refracts the light differently and the stone to appears darker, almost black.

Aftercare

London Stone recommend this product is swept regularly and cleaned periodically using a solution of Lithofin Outdoor cleaner and a pressure washer with a wide spray. In shady gardens it may also be necessary to treat with Lithofin Algex to control the appearance of algae. For detailed aftercare advice please refer to the product guide.
