Description

A solvent-based, gel-like paste, Lithofin OIL-EX is a ready-to-use and highly effective cleaning agent. We recommend using this product to clean oil-based marks off natural stone, porcelain and composite decking. Apply the patio cleaner to the affected area using a spatula at a thickness of 2mm and allow to dry for at least twelve hours. Brush off remaining powder. Product Detail	Lithofin OIL-EX is a ready-to-use, gel-like paste consisting of a mixture of solvents and highly absorbent solids. Lithofin OIL-EX dissolves and absorbs oil and oil based dirt. Its paste like consistency enables the active ingredients to work on the substrate for a long time, so that even deeply ingrained dirt can be successfully removed.

Storage & Shelf Life	Store in cool and dry conditions. Keep tube closed. Shelf life of up to 5 years. Store in locked area inaccessible to children.
PPE Requirements	Do not take internally. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid inhaling vapours. Wear latex gloves, face mask, protective clothing and safety goggles during application.

Installation & Aftercare

Install Preparation	Ensure surface is clear of debris and clear of objects. Pre-wet stone before use.
Equipment Required	Scraper, Spatula and stiff brush
Application Process	Test the product suitability first in an inconspicuous area. Remove solids and surface soiling mechanically using a scraper or a brush. Apply Lithofin OIL-EX to the dry surface using a spatula, so that a coating thickness of at least 2mm is achieved. Allow to dry for approximately 12 hours. The remaining powder can be brushed off after complete drying. Please Note: some dark natural stone can show small amounts of the powder in the porous surface. If this happens please clean with Lithofin MN Power-Clean. Deeply ingrained dirt can be removed by 2 or 3 applications of the product. The active working time of the product can be prolonged by covering the area with plastic film. See product guide for detail.

For many natural stones, particularly sawn stone it is recommended that a protective treatment which prevents the penetration of water, oil and dirt. This can make maintenance easier overall. See our range of sealants for further detail.

Cancel up to 14 days from the date of delivery. Products to be returned in the same condition and packaging. No returns for bespoke or pre-sealed items.

You will be responsible for returning the material to London Stone. Collection can be made by us but this will incur a collection cost.
