Cherry Laurel, also known as “Prunus laur 'Genolia'” is a Swiss evergreen shrub, ideal for mass planting as hedging or screening due to its dense, erect, columnar growing habit. It displays shiny, dark green, elongated foliage and in spring bears erect clusters of white flowers and a few black fruits which are attractive to bees and other wildlife. These hedging plants have a compact growth that forms a narrow hedge, perfect for a smaller garden or where space is an issue. Whatever shape or size your garden this plant will make the perfect addition for hedging or to add interest or divide areas in the garden.
