Please excuse us while this blog is being renovated.

London Stone are absolutely delighted to announce that we are opening our third natural stone paving showroom.  The new showroom will be in Essex and will be opening at the beginning of April.  Work on the project has started today with the ground works and excavations.  The new showroom will feature our complete range of natural stone paving and especially focus on our sawn paving, bespoke paving and Yorkstone paving products.  The showroom will also display our range of Indian sandstone, limestone and slate.  We will be regularly updating this blog with photos of the builds progress.

Our new showroom in Essex, based in Brentwood, is conveniently located close to the A12 and the M25. Based at the Brentwood Garden Centre, it provides contractors, landscapers, garden designers, as well as homeowners, in the local area, a complete display of all the products London Stone has on offer.

Beautiful design for display of stone paving

We have created a comprehensive display of all the paving slabs we have in stock ready to be delivered direct to site from our central depot. In addition there are examples of the bespoke products which are sawn and finished to order, such as hand sawn copings and step treads.

The display has been designed to give customers examples of how the different stone looks when laid are using a variety of layouts. Although we send out sample boxes, this is no substitute for seeing a large area of paving stones laid and pointed in situ. Our customers can then show their clients examples of the various colours and surfaces.

Indian Sandstone Paving to complement your garden design

One of the most popular choices is Indian Sandstone Paving which is both low maintenance and great value for money. Indian Sandstone comes in a wide range of colours from pale Mint through to Kandla Grey (click here to see the full range). Whilst traditionally, many landscapers and contractors have used project packs which cover just over £17sq m in equal numbers of all four sizes, providing a random layout, we are seeing a trend towards using single sizes of Indian Sandstone Paving. A brick bond pattern of the largest size, 900 x 600mm, gives a more contemporary look, particularly in more uniform colourways, such as Autumn Brown or Kandla Grey.

Indian Sandstone Paving varies in hardness and porosity, the most hard wearing being Kandla Grey and Raj Green, making them a particularly popular choice.

We are looking forward to building strong relationships with all the landscaping professionals in the area to the showroom and our team are on hand to give visitors a personal tour.
