Designer favourite

You may remember that designer Rae Wilkinson used Kota Blue in her Living Landscapes' HUG garden at Hampton Court Flower Show 2015, awarded Silver Gilt. She's one of many garden designers to love the riven blue limestone paving for its naturally flat surface. This, with its even colouring and sawn edges make it a stylish paving that looks good in more traditional settings too. Rae paired it with blue and silver planting. Its gentle blue tones complement a calming colour palette, but it's equally worth considering if you want a foil to hot and zingy borders. Take a look at Rae's Silver Gilt-award winning garden.
