The new additions to our Corten steel planter collection come in 6 different shapes and sizes. Height varies from 300mm to 600mm, and diameter from 300 to 500mm. We’ve chosen these dimensions, not only so the pots balance each other visually when used in a group, but also to complement our Cube and Tall Cube options. This allows you to be really creative. Thoughtful placement of a variety of shapes, sizes and groupings around the garden will result in textural and tonal detail that ties a design together.

Versatile round metal planters

Corten Steel is a fascinating material. Firmly industrial, it nevertheless slips comfortably into traditional settings. Thanks to its warm colour and organic appearance, it can be every bit at home in a cobbled courtyard as when paired with the most recent paving and cladding. As you can see below, Aleksandra Bartczak combined Corten steel very effectively with our Silver-Grey Granite Setts in her show garden at RHS Hampton Court 2019. Because of its versatility and good looks Corten steel has become a stalwart of show gardens, frequently enhancing displays at RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court. It’s easy to see why. Planter features

Made of 2mm thick steel, these round planters are made to last. The metal is turned at the top, creating a lip that complements their proportions and making them easier to manoeuvre. Hidden block feet ensure they sit firmly, while raising them slightly above the ground. This aids drainage and means that plants won’t become waterlogged. It also means they have an attractively light feel as they appear to hover slightly above the ground.
