London Stone - Taking Showrooms Out Of The Capital

When you’re looking for inspiration, where do you go? Or what about a face-to-face discussion of paving options? Or a friendly face, a decent cup of coffee and some industry chat on your way back from a site visit?

From our beginnings ten years ago, London Stone now has eight showrooms around the country. We might have London in our name, but you certainly don’t need to be based in London to find us. Thanks to our partners, you can view our range and get the London Stone experience as far afield as West Sussex and Cheshire. We’ve travelled quite a way since we launched a refurbished showroom in Middlesex in 2010, the start of our high-spec, public-friendly spaces where you can be confident you and your clients will be looked after.

Back then, we offered ten different types of sawn sandstone and limestone for contemporary spaces and a good range of sandstone and slate for traditional spaces. We believed every bit as much then as we do now that customers should have the chance view paving and stone products in realistic surroundings and we created one of the most comprehensive displays in the south of England. How things have grown since! Today, for London-based landscapers and designers, we have three showrooms around the M25, as well as our state-of-the-art North London Showroom, the first where we have really put our own stamp on the design. The displays are somewhat more extensive than that first West London incarnation. You’ll find upwards of fifty different types of natural stone paving, twenty-eight different porcelains, and our recent innovations DesignClad and DesignBoard, not to mention our Millboard displays, and our walling, cladding, setts, step treads, and coping options.

We’ve taken the industry to a new level with our latest showrooms in Bounds Green, N1, and Farnham, Surrey. Our belief is that hard landscaping is every bit as deserving of a high-end experience as interior design, so not only do you find our entire range but there’s a lifestyle approach to the displays so you and your clients can get a proper feel for how the materials will work at home. This feel continues around the country. Garden House Design in Ferring, near Worthing, West Sussex, draws high-quality brands together to show clients how they can enhance their lifestyle. Urban Garden Products in Great Barrow, near Chester and only 45 minutes from Tatton Park, also presents many of our products in a design-led setting. We know that one of the concerns of landscapers and clients outside the capital was that with a London firm you end up paying London prices. However, our 2019 Service Offering means that full pack deliveries of natural stone, porcelain and composite decking are free, making us an easy option for high-quality materials, even in the furthest corners of the country. We and our partners very much share the same ethos of customer service, so if we can do it for you, we most certainly will. The impossible will take only a little bit longer!
