New! Millboard Experience Centre opens at our Birmingham Showroom

The UK's first Millboard Experience Centre has arrived! We reveal the composite decking and cladding displays you’ll find when you visit our Birmingham showroom.

Millboard – a natural fit

Millboard is one of the most respected names in the landscaping world, producing a resin mineral composite decking that looks exactly like timber. Their approach to customer service very much marries with ours at London Stone, with a determination to offer the very best in materials and service. We know, because we’ve supplied Millboard to customers since 2016, and you’ll find Millboard products on display in our showrooms around the country.

The first Millboard Experience Centre and Training Academy

Now we’re delighted to welcome The Millboard Experience Centre and Training Academy to the first floor of our Birmingham showroom. Built by accredited Millboard installer Instant Scenery, this is the first centre in the country and offers a comprehensive display where tradespeople and homeowners can explore the full range of decking and cladding that Millboard supplies.

The decking area offers comprehensive displays of all the available Millboard products.

The opening event, March 2025, saw landscapers, designers and contractors gather at our Birmingham showroom, welcomed by Guy Douglass, Millboard's Global Director, and our Managing Director Steve Walley. Mark Gregory, of Landform Consultants, gave a talk with a Q&A session.

Training opportunities for the trade

The centre will also hold training events for landscapers and designers, and provides a great space for trade get-togethers. Easy to access, with plenty of parking on site, it makes an ideal venue.

The London Stone experience

As you can imagine, we’re well-versed in Millboard’s products, so you can expect our normal high level of knowledge and expertise when you come to view the products. There are also samples to take away, so you can check how they look at home. And, of course, you have everything that London Stone has to offer spread at your feet in the largest of our nine showrooms. Check out how different natural stone and porcelain paving colours will look in combination with Millboard decking, place samples up close, and take time to browse, with our free refreshments to hand.

The Millboard Experience Centre marks the start of a new chapter in our collaboration with Millboard.
