This year we introduce exciting Brushed and Grooved composite decking ranges. The ranges feature four colours that offer a stylish choice for anyone on a restricted budget.

The range

Our Brushed and Grooved composite decking is uniquely versatile. On one side of the decking the surface has a brushed finish, and the other side is grooved. You can choose one or the other, or mix and match to subtly delineate sections of the garden. Thanks to the bamboo fibres that account for 50% of its make-up, our Brushed and Grooved composite decking has an organic feel, often lacking in budget decking, which adds warmth and character to your installation. The colour options

The Brushed and Grooved composite decking ranges are available in four colours:

Pebble Grey has a combination of light grey and gunmetal grey tones, blended by subtle flecks. The grey tones of these decking boards are the ideal choice if you are looking to create a neutral backdrop that allows bold features to take centre stage.

Limebok Landscaping chose Pebble Grey Brushed DesignBoard with Florence Grey porcelain paving for this modern design.

Warm Teak will bring a more rustic, aged feel to decked areas. Use this colour to create a traditional feel in the garden.

Dark Ash bears close resemblance to stained timber. If you love the beauty of natural wood but not the drawbacks of ongoing maintenance, this is the decking for you.

What makes our Brushed composite decking unique?

The brushed side of these decking boards have detailed, fine lines running parallel along their length. It’s these fine lines that give the boards their distinctive appearance and give them an organic feel. When designing your garden, consider pairing these boards with porcelain paving, to add svelte textures with modern lines.

Grooved DesignBoard, here in Pebble Grey, has narrow grooves along each board, helping to add movement and interest into a decked area, as well as additional slip-resistance.

What makes our Grooved composite decking unique?

The grooved side of the decking board features shallow, yet distinctive grooves in the surface. It's an elegant finish that adds definition and character, a winning combination for any garden. The grooves also give additional slip-resistance: perfect as a swimming-pool surround.

Why you should go composite

As with DesignBoard and Millboard, our other composite decking ranges, Brushed and Grooved decking is easy to maintain. Composite materials require much lower maintenance than natural wood, giving you more time to just enjoy your garden. With Brushed or Grooved composite decking you only need to clean it every 3-4 months. To clean your decking, you simply need a brush and soapy water or to use a jet wash correctly. For those more stubborn stains we are on hand to help you. However, it offers several benefits over wood. Hard-wearing and durable, it's also rot-proof, warp-, slip- and algae-resistant, so you can confidently use the boards in areas that are prone to getting wet. Installation

The installation of these boards is straightforward; you only need a few simple tools. The boards use a simple clipping system for an easy installation. You can cut the boards down to size as required, in the same way that you would cut timber boards.
