Formed from ancient volcanic rock, Palermo Basalt is an unabashed, no nonsense European natural stone from Italy. Possessing outstanding technical properties, this material offers rich grey colouring, and all the characteristics expected from a basalt: hard-wearing, luxurious aesthetics, and colour consistency. This material is especially at home in projects seeking an industrial feel, around water features and commercial facades, as well as for use as floating steps and landing sections. Crisp, machine-sawn edges allow for sleek 5mm joint widths, enhancing the material’s stylish credentials.
