Our range of ethically sourced Indian Sandstone offers high-quality, value-for-money paving in five different colours and a range of sizes that make it enormously popular with designers and hard landscapers. Available in warm autumnal tints, beige, cool grey, or even with fascinating fossil-like markings, it works well with almost any style, contemporary or traditional. London Stone’s Indian sandstone paving includes a selection of matching stone setts and stone circles. So much choice creates exciting design possibilities as slabs, setts and circles may be combined to create a unique paving pattern and add character.
Our naturally riven Indian sandstone has hand-cut edges and, like all our sandstone paving, is calibrated to 25mm thickness, which makes it a hard-wearing, low-maintenance paving that’s suitable for high-traffic areas and relatively easy to lay, thereby saving on labour costs. Some of our clients ask about the poor working conditions endured by some quarry workers in India and, here at London Stone, we share these concerns. So, not only do we visit our suppliers regularly to ensure that our stone is ethically quarried, but we've joined the Ethical Trading Initiative, which strives to improve conditions and end exploitation.
