Our Slate Grey Norcros Flexible Grout is the perfect choice when grouting any type of wall and floor tiles including porcelain. The patio and tile grout is weather and water resistant which makes it the perfect choice for outdoor tiling, as well as compatible to use for areas that are exposed to water. The patio grout mix is equally effective whether used internally or externally and is suitable for joint widths of 2-20 mm. Rock-Tite™ polymeric binders enhance the flexibility of the grout which provides a greater range of fixing possibilities. Pointing PreparationIt is recommended to wait at least 7-14 days before pointing. It can help to dampen natural paving before grouting to help reduce the risk of picture framing. Prior to grouting the open grout joints clean, dry and free of residues. Porous or textured tiles/slabs may require sealing before grouting with a suitable impregnating sealer. If in doubt trial an inconspicuous area to check for staining and correct colour before commencing.
MixingInto a clean pail add 1 part of cold water and gradually introduce approximately 4 to 5 parts of grout powder. Mix using a low-speed drill and mixing paddle continuously until a smooth, lump free blend is achieved. At 20°C the mixed grout will have a long pot life of around 2 hours, no further water should be added after the initial mixing.
Application ProcessUsing a soft rubber grout float apply the material with diagonal sweeping movements to the grout joints, taking care to fully compress the grout into the full depth of the joints. Work in manageable areas, and clean off any residues when the grout has begun to firm up in the joints but not before it sets on the tile face. Cleaning with a damp and not overly wet clean foam rubber sponge will provide best results. Changing the cleaning water as it becomes contaminated with grout residues will also aid cleaning. When the grout has set, any remaining grout film can be polished off the surface with a clean damp cloth. N.B. Do not over wet the grout as this will result in a weakened grout joint and can also cause efflorescence, a white soluble salt, to form on the surface of the finished grout joint. Refer to the product guide for further information.
Cleaning ToolsWash all tools frequently to avoid material bonding to them
Cleaning During ApplicationAlways keep a clean sponge and water available for wiping off any excess or spillages from paving

Can withstand a light jet wash, be careful not to get too close which could damaged the joint
