“I love the rich colour and delicate texture of these materials, which are perfect for a small, sunlit space in want of a touch of sophistication and simplicity.” says Gabi. Their marbled surface offers warmth and movement to a minimalistic space. “The riven texture of the slate plays off the light and brings the garden to life.”

Gabi plans for these materials to be decorated with muted shades of green and lots of texture. “Feathery Stipa gigantea would create a soft foil; the sparkly golden seed heads would look fantastic in the sunlight, in front of the dark DesignClad. Zesty green Euphorbia characias ‘Black Pearl’ would radiate against the soft grey tones in the slate.”
