Chatsworth House in all it’s glory – the perfect setting for an RHS show

This month saw the second-ever RHS Chatsworth Flower Show, set in the beautiful gardens of Chatsworth House, and the incredible landscape created over two-hundred-and-fifty years ago by Landscape Architect Capability Brown. The show not only hosted beautiful show gardens, from world leading garden designers, and immense floral displays, but again showed the whole world just how amazing, interesting and fun horticulture really is. read more

Green Living Spaces; WE’VE DONE IT!

What a difference a month makes! From the torrential wind and rain, I am currently sat inside the ‘Green Living Spaces’ garden we have built at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival. The sun is shining, the gardens look divine, the atmosphere is buzzing, and there is a bottle of something fizzy cooling in the fridge. This can mean only one thing; it must be press day!

A Bespoke Stone Finish to RHS Hampton Court gardens

With Hampton Court currently in full swing, there’s still time to nip along and admire the enormous creativity of designers and prowess of landscapers, not to mention some rather gorgeous (*coughs modestly*) Natural Stone Paving and Porcelain.  Once again, designers have put us through our paces in their bespoke requirements and here’s what you’ll see if you visit.


First up, Blind Veterans UK: It’s All About Community Garden, designed by Andrew Fisher Tomlin and Dan Bowyer. This has gained, not only Gold, but also Best Construction Award for Landform Consultants for a garden that is alive with movement and colour. read more
